It’s coming – the most important day of the Spring: Mother’s Day!

Let’s face it without mom, you wouldn’t be here – and you’d likely still be saying Your instead of You’re – and wearing that weird shade of lipstick she was brave enough to tell you to toss. Things like this make us say, “Thanks Mom!” in our head a few times a day, at least. Or, how about those moments talking to our kids when we say to ourselves, “Oh my goodness, I sound like my mother.”

So, how do you celebrate the one who made you, you? And, the wife and mother in your life? Simple: A Variety of Gifts and experiences.

Our top five:

  1. Our handmade gift baskets – Wine, Coffee, Treats, Olive Oil – only the best. Our staff can custom make yours – if you’re running low on time (and ideas) just give us a call and we’ll make sure to treat mom right.

2. Take her shopping!

If you just don’t know what to pick – bring mom with. There’s nothing more she’d like to do than spend time with you, anyway. SOGO Downtown is naturally our favorite spot – start with coffee from us, let her pick out her favorite Olive Oil – then meander around the shops. No rushing – and make time for plenty of snacks.

3. Head to a cooking class together

Many people enjoy experiences more than gifts – Mom may have taught you how to make spaghetti – but the two of you may rejoice in the ability to make a special treat for your family. It’ll be your new thing. Check out our upcoming classes by clicking here.

4. Out to brunch – or make your own

If you don’t want to fight the crowd – make mom a special brunch. (Don’t worry, we’ve got recipes and ideas in store and throughout our blog!) Or, make reservations at one of downtown Pensacola’s finest – call soon to get a good spot.

5. Sign her and her friends up for a Fun Night Out

Sometimes the best gift is saying “I’m thinking of you and want you to have a fun night without responsibilities” – this gift may be great for the wife & mom in your life. We have a fun cooking class coming up that may be perfect for the ladies to sip vino and learn – learn more here.
